Use categories to organize items

Categories group similar inventory items for:

  • Easier item management

  • Faster sales order entry

  • More organized reports

You can add categories and arrange them in order on your POS devices and online menu. You can add and remove items from categories, and delete categories.


Add product categories

Categories display on your POS device.

  1. From a browser, log in to your Clover account.

  2. At the left, select one of the following based on what you see onscreen:

    • Inventory > Categories

    • Items > Categories

  3. Select Add Category.

  4. Enter a name for the new category.

  5. Select Done.
