8.1 The Multi-Item Edit


In the Basic Menu Management section, below the ‘Modifier Sets’, click the Multi-Item Edit button.


Definitions:

  • Multi-Item Edit:
    It refers to a feature that allows the user to edit multiple menu items at once, rather than having to make individual changes to each item separately.


  • Menu Categories Filter:
    A feature that allows the user to filter the menu category.



The only requirements for Multi-Item Edit [ for now ]

  • Item Price and Color
  • Printer [ note: Please choose the appropriate option based on the printer's location in the store ]
  • Option Modifier: also known as Option Sets
  • Type Modifier: also known as Type Sets


8.2 Tutorial on using the Multi-Item Edit 

  • Step 1 ( Navigating the menu category ):
    Click the dropdown icon near the ‘All Categories’ and find the desired Menu Category to edit.

  • Step 2 (Highlighting the Meat Items): 
    With the Multi-Item Edit feature, the user can highlight the Menu Items making editing a lot faster. In this step, the user clicked the menu item to highlight the desired item.

  • Step 3 (Updating all the Menu Items): 
    With the Multi-Item Edit feature, the user can update the Item Price of multiple menu items at the same time, the same goes for the other options. [ note: after inputting the required information, always remember to click the update button ]   

  • Step 4 ( Using Option and Type Modifier ):
    With The Multi-Item Edit feature, the user can Add or Remove certain modifiers to multiple Menu Items at the same time.  After choosing the modifier, click the add button or if you want to remove the modifier just click the Remove button.




    Results ( Saving the information ):
    After you have made all the necessary edits, click the 'Done' button to update all the changes made. That's it, you're done.
