Definitions




Set Tiles

  • This is where the user inputs the food categories. [ Note: Only 3 Sets of tiles are available ]


Create Report Categories

  • The feature allows the merchant to create custom categories for reporting purposes.


Move Category

  • This feature allows the user to move the inputted category to another tile.
     [ Note:  Click first the “Move Category” button or tile then pick the desired category { click only once } after that click an empty tile {this will move the desired category to the empty ]



4.2 Tutorial on Moving the Menu Category


 Moving the tile to an empty tile

Step 1: Users must click (click only once) on the “Move Category (button)” in the “Menu Categories” tiles.



Step 2: Users must click once on the “inputted category (the colored tile)” in the “Menu Categories” tiles.




Step 3: Users must click on an Empty Tile [ as presented below, Set 2 Empty Tile above the Pasta Tile ] for the Selected tile to move to the desired tile.
 [Note: There are issues that it won’t move as soon as you click the empty tile, just wait for it to process].


Result: The Tile moved to the desired location.



Reminders: ALWAYS click the move category button again after using the feature.



 Moving the tile to an existing tile

  1. Step 1: Users must click once on the “inputted category (the colored tile)” in the “Menu Categories” sets.


  2. Step 2: Users must click on an Existing Tile for the Selected tile to move to the desired tile


  3. Result: The Tile moved to the desired location.

4.3 Tutorial on Creating / Editing Menu Categories

    Definitions:

  • Category Name:

  1. The grouping of menu items according to their similarities, such as appetizers, entrees, desserts, and beverages.

  • Description:

  1. A Brief Explanation of the Menu Category

  • Website Position:
  • Button Color

  1. Customize the color of the menu category button 

  • Font Size

  1. Adjust the size of the font or letter of the menu category

  • Text Position

  1. Adjust the text position of the menu category

  • Time set

  1. Adjust the time wherein the menu category will appear

  • Category Image

  1. Set an image for the menu category




Creating a Menu Category for an empty tile

Step 1: The user must click only once on an empty tile in the “Menu Categories” set. [ as depicted in the picture below the user click on the Set 2 Empty tile, above the Existing Bar Tile ]



Step 2: The user will do a keyboard input on the Category Name.  [ As depicted in the picture below, Pasta New is inputted ] Always note that the User can edit the Color of the button/tile, font size, text position, and the category image


Step 3: The user must click only once on the “Save (Button)” to save the inputted information in the food category.





Results: The created Menu Category is reflected in the Sets Tile of the Menu Categories.



Reminders: 

  • A Category name should ALWAYS be inputted.

  • To edit the Menu Name, just click the desired existing Menu Category Tile.
