1. Launching ORDER COUNTER POS
During the start-up of the computer, the Order Counter POS will automatically appear in the window [ For existing users: Please wait for a moment while the system downloads the saved database.. ]
If the Order Counter POS doesn’t automatically appear during start-up, refer to the instruction below:
Click the icon twice on the window screen to launch Order Counter POS.
Signing In
After launching the Order Counter POS, the Sign-In window will appear. It is a requirement to log in with the registered PIN to access the application.
1.2 User Interface
This chapter will describe the structure of the user interface (UI) and thoroughly explain the general elements or buttons of the application.
1.2.1 General Display
The general buttons described below will always be available within the Order Counter POS application, especially the highlighted buttons. These buttons enable merchants and users to view transaction details and input various information related to their business
Order
The order button is a feature that allows the user to create an order for goods or services.
Pending Orders
The Pending Orders button displays a list of orders that have been placed but have not yet been fulfilled or completed.
Control Panel
The Control Panel button provides access to various settings and administrative features of the system. [ Note: This is only accessible by managers or other authorized users ]
Sign Off
The Sign-Off button is a feature that allows the user to exit the application
Table Screen
The table screen is typically a virtual representation of the layout of a restaurant or food service establishment, with tables, booths, and other seating areas.
Table screens can easily manage the status of each table, track orders, and monitor the progress of the dining experience for each customer.
“Takeout”,” Delivery”,” Bar Tab”, and “For Here” Buttons
These are common general buttons in many POS SYSTEMS used in restaurants or food service businesses.
